After returning home from Peru, the craving for cacao husk tea remained, but the tea wasn’t there. So, Sam felt it was in his hands to create his own version and introduce others to the wonderful tea we fell in love with. Rich in antioxidants and vitamins, cacao husk tea was enjoyed centuries ago by the ancient Mayans for its uplifting qualities and health benefits. The Mayans believed this “hot chocolate of the Gods” would give power to their kings. We wanted to share our love for the tea with others, so have created our very own.
Our husks are all organic and ethically sourced. Our tea is sugar free, higher in antioxidants than both green tea and red wine, and contains various micronutrients and vitamins.
